Livin' Large and Lookin Good
America Ferrara is a bit more woman than your average white norteamericano knows how to handle.
She's got an gorgeous face, a big body with more curves than a mountain road, and attitude to spare. If you're a hater, you must be afraid of strong women or insecure about how you could match up with that. Some of us know just how we'd match up with that, and could daydream on that topic for days..... hrm, where was I?
She was born in Los Angeles in 1984 to immigrant parents from Honduras, and started acting as soon as she got the chance at age 7. Her first big film role was the indie classic Real Women Have Curves, and she followed it up with major roles in Dogtown and The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (along with Amber Tamblyn, Alexis Bledel and Blake Lively).
Her latest big break has been playing the US adaptation of Ugly Betty (Betty La Fea), but it takes a bit of time to make her less attractive and mousy. Anyone watching the show for a minute (which is about all I can take - novelas, even en Ingles, just ain't my thing) can tell there's one hot, full-figured latina under all that ready to bust loose. Ouch.
